PADANG TERAP – The Kedah Regional Development Authority (KEDA), through the KEDA Zone 2 Office, Padang Terap, continued its engagement with the local community through the organisation of the Ramadan Spiritual Nourishment Program for the KEDA Village Community of Bukit Ular.

The ceremony was officiated by the Vice Chairman of Mubarak Malaysia, YBhg. Dato’ Seri Haji Ghazali bin Haji Ibrahim, who attended on behalf of the Chairman of KEDA.
Also present to support the program were Board Member of the Malaysian Rubber Board, YBhg. Dato’ Badrol Hisham bin Hashim, and KEDA Development Officer for Zone 2, Padang Terap, Encik Shahurin bin Md Isa.
The program began with a visit to a KEDA K-Home project house that had been completed and is now occupied by a beneficiary family at Desa KEDA Bukit Ular.
The event then continued with a welcoming speech by the KEDA Development Officer for Zone 2, followed by a speech by the representative of the KEDA Chairman.
In his speech, he encouraged residents to remain grateful for the various assistance and initiatives provided by the government and agencies such as KEDA in efforts to enhance the well-being of rural communities.
As a sign of concern for those in need, the ceremony also included the presentation of food basket contributions to asnaf residents in the area.
The program concluded with a communal iftar (breaking of fast) with the local community followed by congregational Maghrib prayers, further strengthening the bond between KEDA personnel and the residents of Desa KEDA Bukit Ular.
